At our April meeting we heard from Irvine Mayor Sukhee Kang, who is running for U.S. Congress in the 45th Congressional District. CD45 includes the cities of Irvine, Tustin, Orange, Villa Park, Anaheim Hills, Laguna Woods, Laguna Hills, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, and Coto de Caza.

Our January meeting included the elections for this year's executive officers.

We also heard from author, activist and Congressional candidate Jerry Tetalman who'll be going up against Darrell Issa in 2012 (running in the new 49th Congressional District which encompasses south Orange County).  Jerry answered questions about his campaign and let those in attendance know how each of us can be helpful to his campaign.
